Sorry but a definite no go for me. Another face lift pub thats failed. Food is awful and overpriced. Landlord Terry is one to avoid. NOT a friendly place to drink pub_goer_frome - 12 Mar 2008 20:40
What a disgrace, on a cold winters evening a couple of mates and myself popped in for a quick one b4 going home - well, we won't be going there anymore! On attempting to exit the pub after putting my hat and coat on, the Landlord, Terry, asked me (in a threatening manner to remove my hat????? It was -2 outside so I told him NO. At that the landlord physically assaulted me and frog-marched me out of the pub and threw me down the steps. (Lawsuit pending). DO NOT GO TO THIS PUB. nqd - 25 Dec 2007 19:51
Great for afternoon drinking; they try to keep a guest beer on (Hobgoblin and Landlord have made appearances), though it can be a bit so-so. Their main business is done in extra-cold lagers, I think. Gets a bit Goth-heavy some times! Bevver - 3 Mar 2006 15:09
Good place to chill out and have a drink, an expensive place and get there before 10pm as u have to pay afterwards. also take a sweat towel as it is like a suana in there! mickyding - 16 Nov 2005 13:17
