Now re-renamed back to 'The Wheatsheaf'. Has Sky sports and real ale, which was the reason why I was in there. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon and I was about the only person didn't have facial piercings, tattoos and wasn't shouting at the top of my voice. I'll probably never go back there, but the barmaid was friendly, the beer wasn't too expensive for London Pride and it was actually well kept.

Very average pub , would have to be desperate to revisit .

Saw a brilliant live band in here on Saturday night by chance called Sounds of the Suburbs they were really good and way above the usual standard of bands playing here. The clientele of the pub however is a little intimidating but seemed ok in the end, we didn't want to leave when we realised how good the band were but otherwise we would not have stayed in here for a drink.

Characterless 'working class' pub with only two real ales (Tanglefoot and Bombadier), and food that stops at 7:00 PM. 'No kids' rule doesn't mean that it's a quiet place - probably more a reflection of how rough it gets later on! Whether you''re looking for good ale, food, or just a quiet place to meet up with friends, there are many more suitable pubs in the vicinity.

We looked in the window, we saw the lighting, we saw the punters, we saw the forlorn handpumps amidst a sea of fizz, we heard the music, we turned and left. I haven't rated this place.
