| Tried out the new menu yesterday, quite acceptable main meals, but unfortunately the meanest portion of bread I have ever seen in a pub restaurant in my life, not only was it only one slice for 95p, but it didn't even match a standard size of a slice of bread. Congratulations for adding to the "Rip off Britain" ethos with this side order. I will most likely still use this pub now and again due to it's location, and the fact it has a useful non-smoking area, but I wont be singing it's praises. anonymous - 14 May 2006 12:50 |
| A Steak and Ale chain pub, part of the Punch Taverns group. Built in 1959 in an anonymous style it looks like every other pub chain pub, but does work hard to please the local Chatham clients and any passing family trade.
