Recently re-furbished to appeal to students, but retains a certain old school charm. Standard choice of drinks, but no ales. Starting to become a bit of an alternative (ie gothy types) hang out. Staff and patrons are friendly, and this is the only pub where I've heard Slayers 'Angel of Death' being played - at excriciating volume.
