| now under new management the pub offers clean and comfortable surroundings , a selection of locally brewed real ales , imported beers (Leffe Blonde , Hoegaarden etc.) , extensive wine list , 35ml spirits as well as the obvious brands. Live music fortnightly , quiz nights and kitchen due to open after extensive refit towards the end of september offering traditional english and Mexican cuisine. | Now run by a band of Portuguese people, very friendly, beer is cheap which explains why some of the locals spend all afternoon in there on dole days, not a pub to sit with your family sadly, but ok if you are just stopping for one, or two, ...or three! harlequin - 7 Feb 2005 11:44 |
