For the discerning apostle of a good argument, this place is for you! Under no circumstances should you call the Ale quality into question, as the staff are trained to blank you. Nice place if you have all the attitude of a mollusc.

Quality of beer has been a bit hit and miss recently. Not cleaning regularly enough or looking after the beer as well as they might. Pity, used to be pretty good in here.

Nice atmosphere and decent ale, although they do tend to run out rather frequently. Mind you head if you're 6' or over!

Decent clean pub, good selection of ales and friendly bar staff. Customer base is of mixed ages, but all quite decent (the 'dross' have gradually been got rid of over the last few months, and banished to Temple Square!). Well worth a visit.

Decent pub with decent real ales though they tend to concentrate on the lagers which sell better so can run out of ale. Newly refurbished and now no smoking throughout. Music can be a bit intrusive, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, but considering the other Aylesbury town centre pubs definitely one of the best.
