| Too many punters for me here. When we went, all cask ale choices were out. A definite negative. Typical plastic pub with very little character. I'd rather stick with the more traditional pubs around the area (Blue Bell, York Arms, Maltings, etc). mrdruse - 10 Aug 2007 19:28 |
| If you like the other varsity bars you have been in then you'll like this one. (In fact, if you like Yate's or Scream pubs, you'll probably like this place). They go for the cheaper end of the drinks range with discount cards, and a reasonable variety on the bar, (smooth bitters, lots of lagers and alcopops). They also serve food which is reasonable and looks decent.
