Visited again several time recently and on the strength of its wide range of real ales (10) including often 4 Dark Star options up my rating. Far and away the best choice of ale in Seaford/Newhaven area. Still has limited seating at busy times, but a quiet corner can usually be sought out. ParsonDarby - 2 Jan 2012 20:53
Picked this one out as the number one target when meeting up with recently-moved family in Seaford based on recent comments here and was not disappointed. An excellent ten beers on including as mentioned a good selection from Dark Star. Beer seemed well kept. Thoughtful selection of bottles (eg Thatchers perry / pear cider) for those wanting something different. Food was good quality and fairly priced. Two public bar areas, both of which were surprisingly quiet (early afternoon Saturday). PhilR - 11 Dec 2011 13:18
We stayed there for one night a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The dinner was fine and the next time we're going to cook our own steaks regardless of what some people have commented, it's a great idea and the regulars use it and so will we. The rooms have all you will get in a four star hotel and the breakfasts are superb. Couldn't fault it except for one waitress/bar maid who was fine but could have smiled a little more- everyone else was cool and welcoming. Monsieurboomboom - 21 Nov 2011 12:30
