| Has a lounge bar and public bar. During my afternoon visit only the public bar was open and the racing was featuring prominently on TV. The Castle Rock beer was excellent - and good value as well. | This is a great pub and really close to the tram stop, so is excelent for a pub crawl. The staff are always friendly and the beer is constantly good. | There are usually 3 or 4 cask ales on offer - Hemlock is the best regular ales from Castle Rock, also they sometimes have Harvest Pale Ale (which gets a 9 out of 10 on the Cobbo Beerometer!!) This pub is close to David Lane Tramstop. Cobbo - 29 Jun 2004 19:50 |
