| The last review is perhaps a little unfair as it does not take account of their lunchtime trade, we have stopped here several times for a light (soup / sandwich) lunch when shopping in Horsham. It's good value for money when compared to many others in this immediate area. The pub has been tastefully and sympathetically modernised and sports a wide range of beers with a sensible menu. It's an interesting place with some real history, now in the precinct but it was on the old A281 prior to the 1970s. For those old enough to remember, located just before the old A281 / A24 T junction. Good for 7 / 10 (lunchtimes only !) Biker - 15 Sep 2008 08:50 |
| The pub is a tad rough and tarty, but otherwise ok with drinks and music! 24pints - 23 Aug 2008 19:06 |
| Hello, I'm Gwen, from France. Several years ago, in 1997, my friend Brad Albrecht worked in this pub, the Green Dragon in Horsham and I would like to have some news from him. If someone knows him, perhaps you could give him my message ? Here is my email : ghesry@free.fr Many thanks for your help! Regards, Gwen GWENFROMFRANCE - 18 Sep 2007 20:47 |
| Hey is There anybody who drinks at the Green Dragon, who used to drink there during mid-seventies and eighties. From Bill Murcutt to Marion(and Jim Todd). I was a regular during those times mostly in the snug bar, and am now living in Australia. I would love to heasr from anyone who still drinks there from that period.
