Read the comments here. A lovely back street pub with truly friendly welcome from everyone. Great beer, a lovely snug bar, tidy, clean and authentic. Been coming on and off for 20 years and it hasn't really changed. Well worth a detour.

I visit this pub Tuesday to play dominos, Wednesday to play crib and Friday for a drink with friends. It is one of if not the friendliest pub in Peterborough.

Eamon keeps the best pint of Guiness that you could wish for.

His pumps and lines are imaculate.

All his real ale is tip top, due to him and the very deep celar. No chillers required here.

Worth a visit from anyone visitng Peterborough.

Unspoilt and friendly. Excellent beer.

This is an excellent pub, on the Camra National Inventory. 4 well-kept real ales on handpump; I enjoyed Elgood's BLACK DOG which was especially good.

Lino flooring and formica tables with recesses to place drinks when playing games, etc.

Live accoustic music on Saturday nights, staff and management very friendly. A little gem. Go and see for yourselves!

Suburb back street local (interior is listed), very friendly. Hardly changed since the 50's.
Good selection of well kept ales.
Has been my local since moving to Peterborough in 1973.
