Unfortunately is appear that this pub is being to closed soon. Such as shame as the regulars and new customers are very well looked after by Kirk and Nicky and their staff. Let's hope they don't move too far so we can visit them.

A fine traditional local with some nice original touches inside, including an original ceiling. Youngs Bitter & Special were the only ales. Horse racing from Ascot was showing on the TV, with most regulars glued to the box. A nice experience. Pity the beers were only Youngs.

Had a very pleasant lunch in here on Sunday whilst listening to live jazz. I am told they serve lunch every Sunday and have the jazz on the first sunday of every month - I for one will be back in July.
