| A fine traditional local with some nice original touches inside, including an original ceiling. Youngs Bitter & Special were the only ales. Horse racing from Ascot was showing on the TV, with most regulars glued to the box. A nice experience. Pity the beers were only Youngs. blue_scrumpy - 16 Oct 2011 17:12 |
| Had a very pleasant lunch in here on Sunday whilst listening to live jazz. I am told they serve lunch every Sunday and have the jazz on the first sunday of every month - I for one will be back in July. nickyq - 8 Jun 2011 15:42 |

| What can i say, walked in here on saturday just gone was busting for the loo, asked the very cheerful lady behind the bar if it was ok and was discreatley shown where it was. went back to the bar where the lady was having a real laugh with some customers, i was impressed so thought id stay for a drink, i was served with my drink having not waited for more than a minite befor she served me. she was very professional and polite in her service.
