pub has gone downhill in the last three or so years.no entertainment, no atmosphere and no heating.i've heard its going to be on next years tour de france route, the amount of dugs that are consumed on the premises. Not that the people who run the place give a toss. When they are there that is.A big fat zero is too high a recommondation.Shame on Youngs (whatever happened to them?) tamjumper - 29 Oct 2007 11:14
This pub used to be great, but has gone down hill fast in the past year, the decore has seen better day's there is a strange smell now theres no smoke fumes to mask it,it's only the punters who use it that makes it worth a visit toxicwizard - 2 Aug 2007 14:41

Lovely big Young's pub in the centre of the town. Nice selection of ale, but opted 4 a very nice pint of Young's Pilsner instead. Cheap food prices, friendly fast service, and a nice patio area overlooking the green. If i lived around here would certainly make this my local. My Rating 9/10 fat_beer_badger - 12 May 2006 14:52
Since the beer is about a pound a pint dearer than the Wetherspoon's opposite, you'd wonder why so many people go to the King's Arms. It's simple really. The beer is good quality, the staff are friendly and the place is a lot more comfortable. MrBabble - 22 Mar 2006 14:43
