Fantastic pub for after work drinks. Always a good atmosphere and fun crowd. Nice little function room area upstairs too. Westendsocialite - 19 Nov 2011 23:12
Ordered food, waited 45 minutes. Went to the bar to ask why it was taking so long, without raising my voice, swearing or any dramatics. Had my order cancelled and told to leave. ca88ages - 22 May 2011 23:51
This is our after work local. We stopped coming here after a few years as it had become samey and a bit like every other semi-gastro place in town. We tried again more recently though and it is a completely different place. The Manager has a really good team of bar staff who are friendly, fast, attentive and polite. There is a good selction of ales, lagers, spirits and wines and they don't seem to run out of anything. The food is fair to good and it has a much improved atmosphere. We're in there all the time now! Basil1 - 26 May 2010 15:50
Has Old Rosie & Aspall's ciders. jgurney1 - 18 May 2010 19:37
Given the fancy nature of many of the nearby shops, I was rather expecting this to be some sort of nasty modern gastro-bar with waiter service. However, it turned out to be a fairly tradional London pub with plenty of dark wood panelling. Four real ales on, including a nice-enough pint of Dizzy Blonde from Robinsons. Quite busy, but the staff seemed to be on the ball. rpadam - 4 Oct 2009 20:09
