Last night was my first visit to the Pheasant in quite a few years. I've only previously been to the restaurant area, which is the large barn-like building. The bar itself is also quite sprawling, with outdoor drinking spilling out to an undercover marquee, to the front and towards the car park. London Pride, Doom Bar & 6X were the ales. So I wouldn't return for those. But the attraction here is the meals. They have a varied menu with two separate special boards. Portions are large and it's quite good value for money, considering its location near Heathrow's hotels and its captive audience. You order at a small server after queuing for up to 20-30 minutes. But food comes much quicker. Decent option if you're looking for food (and a real ale) in the Heathrow area.

Good beer with always a couple of choices of well kept ale, food is great with massive portions. The tuna steak was amazing! This place is always really busy so it can be hard to get a table, having said that I have never failed to get seated yet. Staff vary considerably with some being really friendly and polite whilst some don't seem that bothered. Well worth a visit

I live near this pub, and I visit occasionally. The food is good, and the portions are huge, and the London Pride has been in excellent condition every time I've been in.

Nice looking pub outside which offers a respite from any of the anonymous Hotel bars nearby to Heathrow. Once inside, it's fair to say the place needs some decorating - the wallpaper was ripped in several places and the carpet was very well wotn to the point that in places it must be a near health hazard.
On plus side, the London Pride was okay and the food was reasonable, well priced and came in very large portions.
If they can clean the place up before it really goes downhill, it is worth a pint before that flight or if you are staying in any of the hotels nearby.

Very good pub if you're staying in one of the Heathrow hotels nearby. London Pride was excellent and a very reasonable 3/pint, especially for the area. Food was also excellent and extremely good value - the portions are huge. ( I had scampi - Imagine a plate one foot square and divide into quarters. One quarter was scampi, one quarter was salad and two quarters were chips, all piled high.) It would probably have been enough for two people, so bear this in mind when ordering.
