The people who run and work this quaint pub restaurant have got it absolutely spot on, they know exactly who to treat customers by making you feel immediately welcome. Whats more the food is all home cooked excellent fare, served to your table in a very short space of time. This place is miles ahead of any rivals, well done Spotted Cow. landormick - 3 Apr 2011 19:38
This pub is my favourite for a decent home cooked food on a Sunday (or any day), a bit pricey but for some well good food that isn't packed job in the microwave, which lets face it nearly all of them are, this one isn't and I wouldn't mind paying a little exra money for proper food!! The pub side is very old type of pub, how it should be, not like these modern type pubs!! We don't want to go to these type of pubs all the time!! jselwood - 27 Sep 2009 20:45
Loads of seating outside, a choice of two bars. Carlsberg on draught!! Can attract oiks on occasion, but generally a nice pub decanted - 19 Feb 2009 15:42
Nice but busy pub down a quiet lane in Angmering. H?ad no problem getting a seat during a busy Sunday lunch period. Didn't eat but the food looked great, good selection of real ale plus all the usual eurofizz. House wines by the bottle keenly priced. Bottled Guinness well chilled behind the bar matched well with a half of Harvey's Sussex for a thirst quenching pint after a stroll to Highdown and back. Well worth a visit if you are in the nieghbourhood. workhard - 10 Sep 2007 18:06
Brill food, very fresh tasting, which is refreshing to find as we seem to be slipping into a microwave culture in this country. Lovley ale, friendly staff, good prices. Shame the bar area isnt a tad bigger, as its very popular. Take your wives' they'll love it! hannbar - 18 Sep 2005 21:03
