| No matter how bad the food and service gets, this place thrives; donnadonk is right. People love the picturesque village (just off the A25), the very old Church, the ducks on the Tillingbourne etc. - all a few yards from the pub. | Do the pub's owners ever look at this site? Is there no desire to change around a pub in a fantastic location which could be an absolute goldmine - but where one visit is enough for anyone to ensure they take a vow never to go back? Went here with a party of 11 last Sunday. Service appalling, led by a very cocky, arrogant guy behind the bar. Food and drink...can't even remember what it was like.
