This friendly little local is worth making the effort to visit, even though the parking is not brilliant. Great atmosphere, proper little pub. Had a very nice pint of White Horse's War Horse, which I havent seen round here before, and the landlady have me a sample first which is always a good sign.....

Abbott was very good. GK IPA and 1 guest also on the pumps. Didn't eat but the Sunday lunch looked great.

Decent enough pub, friendly, cosy, warm, good food, but can't quite see what the fuss is about. Only 1 guest beer on Saturday, Moorhouse's Premier (not a favourite), but the clip turned round (only to turn back later) so IPA it was. OK pint, well as OK as GK IPA is ever likely to get. My wife's wine was very nice.

Would be better with a better range of beers, and can't understand how it gets into the Good Beer Guide.

Have to say if your looking for a warm fire and a great pint of ale, this place is hard to beat. A very old cosy pub, with friendly staff and pub dog. First visited this place 3 years ago, and now I can't go past Westerham without stopping here. Great pint of Abbot and IPA, and they have now added a couple more guest beers to keep me there longer. For that old time feel they even have jugs!! Also the food here is superb, great portion sizes. Sunday lunch is the best around for miles.
