| A charming old former manor house and mill just before one hits the roadside mediocrity of Salfords. Sadly in corporate hands for many years, but to give some credit the food is reasonable, and the bar is a nice enough place for a quick drink if one isn't eating. Used to serve 4 ales but nowadays down to 2 - the standard choices of Fuller's London Pride and Young's Ordinary as per most Beefeaters, but well-kept nonetheless.
