I Walked in and walked out. I found this Pub dismal No Real Ales from what I see just a few People sat watching the Racing on Goggle Box . Alesonly - 16 Oct 2009 20:51
What can I say this pub has been my life for many moons. I adore the place I even find it hard to sleep knowing that my friends the hairy boy and Noel might be in the Alexandra without me and find that I am drawn to the place at all hours. There has been a fantastic extension to the rear of the Alexandra super TV, lights etc really worth of seeing. The pub opens early which is good because I like a pint early morning especially with the hairy boy and Noel there, my best friends. We enjoy the atmosphere early morning and the friendly service I drink 15 pints a day in the Alex, work can be a problem knowing that the Alex is open without me. The men are fantastic some of the them are in good shape to, one small problem I would like more gay men to visit. The Alexandra is so nice I would advise any one to call in for a pint my name is Daclon Scott I am the small ginger man with the legs crossed sitting at the bar, either annoying the regulars, eyeing up a man, trying to break up a relationship, rubing my hand on the hairy boy aka Francis legs or whispering in some ones ear. I will test your patience when you meet me that I promise. Great pub, great beer great service great time. A must visit daclon - 9 Oct 2009 21:53

The pub is amazing the people are friendly the service is great the johns smiths is in a different league if you drink to much of that try the Guinness its lovely. My name is Daclon Scott I am one of the regulars in this little gem you will notice me, I am the small ginger guy who annoys everyone. I love a pint at 8.00 am with the hairy boy and Noel my best friends. Its so nice at this time, a paper, a pint of John Smiths and the hairy boy and Noel boy beside me. The Alexandra is the most enjoyable pub I have ever drunk in but like a choosen few it is difficult for me to get access to other pubs in the area for various reasons. The new beer garden to the rear is great, with nice lights state of the art TV sound etc. I enjoy this pubs because it has more men than anywere else I have been so I feel at home looking at men and annoying everyone that I see. I strongly advise the next time your are in East Finchley call in a lovely experience and pub. daclon - 5 Nov 2008 19:11
Even though the service was very friendly (rude service is one of my pet hates) I wasn’t that impressed with this place when I visited last week. The beer selection was very limited; Stella, Carling, Fosters, John Smiths and obviously Guinness. I found it to be more like a living room than a pub and the TV that wasn’t showing the muted horse racing on sky had the film ‘I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry’ playing on it with the volume turned up. I do like Adam Sandler’s humour, but not in a boozer whilst I am trying to enjoy my pint. There is a dart board by the entrance and a small patio garden to the side of the pub. I think that this is one of my least favourite pubs in East Finchley and I’ll keep on walking next time I go past. Strongers - 9 May 2008 09:03
