This pub is sitiuated within 'Ewell Village', which still is 'a suburban village.

I've been in there a few times when the live bands are on, but it attracts outsiders who only want to hear loud rock 70's music.

It'll be interested to hear what happens, when the complaints floud in when the flats above the Sainsbury's local are occupied in Spring 2012

i had the pleasure of coming here recently i must say.this place was clean and well preserved.real ale (badgers, tanglefoot) and nice staff in abundance and may i say i have not tasted better beer in years.yet the music was certainly not out of place (a mixture you dont find to often other than a few youngs houses) located in a world i didnt think existed anymore.i can only say sorry the star is on the radar and most certainly will be returning !!!

This pub seems to have gone downhill recently. No food served, virtually empty at lunchtimes, and seems to survive only because of the regular live rock bands. Badly needs redecorating.

An unusual pub with 2 rooms at the front of the pub with the bar well set back in the middle. The front lounges are comfortable but the bar area is a bit sparce for my taste. There is a raised area at the back with a pool table. They only had 2 real ales but they were Hall & Woodhouse Badger and Tanglefoot which were very good. It was bit quiet when I was there but it was mid afternoon.
