My friends and I use this pub quite regularly as, being pensioners, we are on a budget. I cannot fault this pub, I actually used it today. The food is excellent, value is second to none. Where else can you get a meal and a pint for less than £4. The staff are polite, and we have never been kept waiting. The customers we have met have always been friendly and polite. The staff do not tolerate any trouble, they actually threw a couple of people out today. I would recommend this pub to anybody. I just wish it was in Farnborough, and not Aldershot. We do not have any pubs of this standard in Farnborough. dixielander - 13 Aug 2008 17:39
Extremely cheap pints of beer here. Most pints under £2.00's Is there a downside? Well a few people seemed a little on the rough side, but it wasnt exactly intimidating. aleman - 7 Mar 2008 13:35
cheap cheap cheap ale, but generally pretty busy over he weekends and serves food, a good laugh for a pub to stop into when out and about in town but not a locals session pub peterc_drs - 1 Mar 2008 10:44
Two real ales on tap, Youngs and Tetleys, both acceptable and cheap. Basic inexpensive pub grub. Seems like a typical high street boozer aimed at a young market. Duckstein - 2 Jan 2008 16:02
Real Ale recently introduced...and well kept so far!! Who can argue with cask Tetleys at £1.35 a pint...also Youngs Ordinary at £1.50 and a Youngs (i think)Christmas Ale at £1.99. Can be a little rough and ready but staff seem to be making an effort by not accepting any nonsense Can't really comment on food but appears to be good value. Most staff friendly enough performing in what can be a fairly high pressure envoironment at times wolseley - 16 Dec 2007 21:11
