The Shepherds Bush Walkabout is not just for the ex-pats of Oceania, although if you are feeling a little homesick this is the place to be. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and good times are guaranteed every day of the week. The meals are cheap, delicious and will taste like Australia in your mouth! The beers are always flowing and can be made 20% cheaper with a Boomerang card (a very wise investment)

Everywhere you look there is a plasma TV. One of the best places for watching live sport in London and if you cant see a TV you are either vertically challenged or are staring at the ceiling from a few too many snakebites. Sunday sessions are compulsory and are a crazy fun way to end the weekend!

Its the beers and fun friendly atmosphere that will be bring us back to spend Christmas day here with mates and a Roast Dinner. Can not wait!!

BBC today reported that on 18/04/11 this pub was the scene of a brawl involving Wasp's rugby players and football fans.

I was there last week. Had a good time the que wasn't to bad which was suprising since it is a walkabout. Wouldn't go every week but once in a while maybe.

They need better bands they all pretty same old and they play the same boring crap month in month out.

Get some new blood in there me thinks.

How can you say the bands are good in there after 10 minutes of centrefold, mustang sally and brown eyed girl we left.

Haven't these bands ever heard of the Kings of Leon or the chilli peppers we are in 2010 not 1980.

I have the dubious honour of being the first person to be served a pint in this place when it first opened on a Sunday afternoon back in April 1998. I have been many many times since and the place is fine for a loud bashing drunken drinkup, but only if you dont mind people bumping into and pushing you over to get past you. - Yes it gets so full you cannot move easily. The toilets as other have pointed out are dirty and they are basically just a mix up - men walk into the womens and vice-versa. It is quite disorganised and casual in that aspect.

The music can be good at weekends with many live bands performing, however they do have some very lewd stage acts performed sometimes which are outrageous and could easily cause offence to those not 'initiated'. The bouncers are mean, but they do have enough fights in there to necesitate quite a substantial security presence in that place.

It is a good place to watch sport - dont bother going on a Wednesday night if you do not enjoy football. I would go back to this place, but I have probably grown out of it by now. It is for the twenty-somethings who want to get sozzled on cheap booze while dancing to loud music.

It can be fun though.
