This is an Indian restaurant. Good for food, crap for a beer in the evening!

I've been drinking at this pub now for a few years, to be honest I don't go there on a Saturday night. As it isn't the most happening place on a Saturday in Finchley. It's a great place to go thou, very friendly, mixed ages & types of people, staff & your always made to feel welcome. Great Food. They recently took the pool table and dart board away thou, which was a minus. I go there alot after work or during the week to meet my friends. The regulars are very friendly and make you feel welcome too. The report it is a restaurant is a bit wrong, it's half & half. Your still able to just get a pint, there are two rooms one is still like a pub the other is more of a restaurant.Seating outside back & front, Free juke box with pop tunes and Indian tunes. Raj & the staff, well done. Andy G

I have been to the Safari Club twice recently, both times I have chosen to eat in the bar. The bar is a little noisy but the atmosphere is friendly and the food the best I have eaten outside india.

what a proper old mans pub. You never quite feel right when there as the louts are so noisy drunk as a fish over the pool table and the drinks are more expensive than other local places.

Friendliness on tap, anyone? Head straight for the Swan. This is the stuff pubs should be made of. Never a bad word spoken and laughs all around. Sample the sublime, exotic spices of the Jeera Chicken, partake in the quirky aftertaste of the blue Tarantula tequila, or simply sit back and gaze west to watch the sun set behind the trees. To all who would cast their glance askew at this diamond in the rough, bah! Ye knoweth nothing. Come, take in the only bar in North London that I would happily call a second home. To Raj and Ray, hail! A job well done and long may it continue.
