| The pub is an integral part of the station building which is stone built and full of character. There are two main areas inside and the "entrance lounge" has the most character, with the walls full of railwayana.It also has a wonderful fireplace which comes into its own in the cooler months. Always a good and changing selection of real ales. There can't be many pubs where you can sup a pint by a real fire with the smells of coal smoke and hot oil wafting in from the steam trains outside. Even if steam railways aren't your thing it is a nice pub, with atmosphere, in a lovely old building and worth a visit (or brief encounter , ho , ho). | Super super super place, Hard to imagine what we would of lost if they had not opened the severn valley railway. Top display of railway artifacts. Brill beers selection; Derventio 'Venus', York 'Decade', Titanic 'Mild', Hobsons 'Town Crier', Stonehenge 'K.P.A. and Batham's.
