| I know it's expensive and the food is not always that great (on our last Sunday visit the beef was curly around the edges and so tough a steak knife couldn't cope and my sons burger was so rare the lower bun was dripping and soggy with blood - surely a food safety issue) but i still love this pub! alanbeers - 3 Jun 2009 20:45 |

| Another very good pub, same chain as Harkers. Quality ales and very good food. Again no distraction like tv, bandit etc. etc. probably over 80 malts too. No children after 6pm. No smoking area. Very friedly landlord and staff. billy_squibble - 18 Oct 2005 22:56 |
