| Well it looks like Fullers decided to cash in on this one for an undisclosed sum - it seems set to become a hostel or hotel. I never had the pleasure of imbibing here and judging by most of the comments its just as well! Shame though as good thirties pubs are quite rare and this looks good from the outside. No doubt it had been gutted ages ago, but I bet it was a stunner when new. RIP bigjim778 - 23 Jul 2010 14:12 |

I went to this pub before a Chelsea game and was shocked with what i saw. All of the Fullers signage had been removed which rather concerned me as i approached the pub and when i went inside there was no cask ale available, there were hand pumps hiddden in the corner but no ale. The only reference of any kind to this being a fullers pub was an old fullers mirror on the wall. We went in an hour or so before kick off and it was literally dead, not at all surprising really. A very horrible place, run down and surely is no longer a fullers pub. We left within one minute of arriving, never again. ant_uk - 4 Jan 2010 09:27 |
