The ultimate beer destination around here. i CRAVE their Dunkel that beer is phenominal. why it's not sold more widely i'll never know, my mouth waters when i think of it...

This is a classic. An Austrian pub in the heart of Worcester. As such, there is no British beer or lager at all, just excellent Austrian lagers and wheat beers (blond and dark). Pub decor is old fashioned, with wood walls and multi roomed, with the bar in the front room.

Nice pub, they could do so much more with it and if you look in the snug at the back it is in need of a good clean. Beers are good especially the Dunkel (Brown) Austrian.

Kitchen is very poor unless you want to eat something very basic. It is a shame, could be such a great place to eat and drink!

Allegedly the longest-serving pub in Worcester, if not the oldest, the locals know each other but are friendly to you if you're friendly to them. Run by a family to suit their lives - and fair enough, although has a habit of being closed when I want to be there. Magnificent, deadly, Austrian beer - to call it lager and tar it with the Fosters brush is an outrage! Proof that spending more can be better value.

Eine Stuck Heimat! For me walking into this pub was like coming home again after being lost in a wilderness. Bier from home, food from home, great staff, good regulars, going back Wednesday, and every following Wednesday, until I get back to Austria. Hoamatland, Hoamatland i han di so gern...
