Much improved with beer range not bad and quality outstanding on my visit. Friendly staff as well. daveinbrum - 20 Nov 2011 16:29
Range of beer is poor considering the local options on offer, used to be much better. But reasonably comfortable hostelry in attractive part of the city. Lordsnootie - 18 Sep 2011 12:10
Nice cosy little city-centre pub with extensive wood panelling. Good to see Greek-Cypriot specialities on the menu - not just the usual identikit pub grub. Not the world's most exotic beer range, but my pint of Bass was fine. Heatonian - 4 Jul 2011 22:55
With a BITE rating of 7.9, this was my first port of call during a recent short break in Hereford. For me the downside was that all the 5 real ales on offer were more or less mainstream brews. There are some great local micros and it is a great pity that none were represented. I cannot fault my Adnams Broadside. Our food was top notch too and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The number of other customers, of all ages, confirms that the management have got their act right. 9/10. It would have got a 10/10, if a decent local brew had been available. steve2905 - 23 Apr 2011 02:28 |
Brilliiantly run pub. The landlord should give lessons in his profession. A joy to go there ruardean - 12 May 2010 12:52
