Visited twice in the past few months both time with family including my two year old sun. Excellent food, nice range of drinks and fab friendly service. Was made to feel very welcome and certainly the friendliest pub we've tried in Pudsey.

We visited this pub a week ago, and i was so shocked that a small pub has everything so spot on, we had a sunday lunch and the food was impressive and worth a short wait, and good value for money,i understand also from talking to a regular there is a new menu about to be launched!!
will definitely be visiting for that !!
The beer and real ales were also in good stead, and the whole pub was packed and everyone was having a relaxing sunday family day.
I rate this pub overall at 9 out of 10, i've read the other comments, please try for yourselves!!!I also notice the comments were from 2 years ago!! The pub now has a family running it and a new landlord!!

Worth a visit for the view alone. I doubt there are many pubs within 6 miles of a large city centre like Leeds to have such a nice outlook.
Guest beers are OK, if sometimes in short supply. Food is good too. You can even pull up outside on your horse and enjoy a pint over the fence.
If there's a downside then it's the trying-too-hard-to-be-olde-worlde decor. But I'm being picky.

I have visited this remote pub twice and was unimpressed by the very unfriendly staff who seemed to want to be alone.
