I liked it when it was the Campbell when Sabs ran it, those were the days!!

Join my campaign to bring back the Dive: now there was a classic case of a great pub being ruined by 'progress'. They tried to cater for the students (bless 'em) and soon went out of business. Now where can an honest to god law abiding 50 something ex Hells Angel go for a pint, eh?

The Campbell rules! Been going here for about 7 years now and despite going to uni in Hull and now living in Manchester I still find myself back there whenever I go back to Cov. Friendly staff, clientele and as stated by another reviewer DJ KIP RULES!!! Friday night upstairs at the Campbell is THE best rock night anywhere, mainly because DJ Kip doesn't pander to emo 'scenesters' and still plays proper rock/metal/punk. What's with all this rock fan bashing? Ever see a fight in a rock club...? People go to rock clubs for good music, not for a fight. Townies take note...
