I had a quick pint in here recently - it felt and looked a bit run-down. Friendly enough and the pint ok but i wont be rushing back.

I agree that it is very much a locals' pub but I've never found it anything other than friendly, and I'm not a regular. It's the only pub I'd go to in the area for Glo'ster rugby on Sky TV and I've found the beers fine.

Listed by Camra as a friendly inn. Couldn't be further from the truth if you're a stranger. Visited at lunchtime last week. Served three quarters of a pint of average beer. When I asked politely for it to be topped up, the barmaid's attitude was the wirst I have had for this simple request in a long time.
