Nice and popular bar with friendly and efficient service. The cocktails are excellent and atmosphere great, but be prepared to shout to have a conversation later on at night if you haven't managed to get a seat nearer the front.

This is a nice place in the evenings. The atmosphere is good and you can have a decent conversation despite the music. Though it's I suppose primarily a cocktail bar, it's also a very good place to sit and have a conversation over whatever drink you may choose in the evening. There is seating at the front of the bar, away from the main area, as well as a small amount of seating in a raised section opposite the bar. Unsurprisingly, most of the customers tend to be people in their early to mid 20s, though in the early evenings it is also popular with people who've just finished work (I think they also have regular happy hours).

This is now known as "B@1" and is by far an away better than the Hit Bar was. Friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere and open until 1 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. There are also plenty of cocktails to choose from, as well as wine, spirits and bottled beers. I've enjoyed some great nights here after the pub!

Hammersmith doesn't do trendy bar (does Edward's count as trendy, I think not), so Hit's attempt so be welcomed. The bottled beer is, well bottled beer so its not really going to taste any different from anywhere else. The cocktails are adequate though not inspired. I've only used it on a week night, but I suspect it gets quite busy on a weekend.

We had our joint birthday bash at Hit Bar in Hammersmith on Saturday night and it was absolutely fantastic - the manager (Eddie) made sure everything went without a hitch, providing us with a fab DJ and generally making everyone feel welcome. All 100-odd guests had a really great night and left raving about the bar. I think it's a real shame the last review was so negative - there was obviously a misunderstanding as I've found the staff at Hit to be courteous, friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
