Love the bar, friendly staff, friendly customers. Their live music is also very good, having live bands every week or two. Definetly coming back. redherring101 - 25 Aug 2008 15:48
Great meal in this pub tonight. Locals made us really welcome and child-friendly too (high chairs, nappy changing, healthy kids options) Real ale brewed locally on tap, they have signs up for live music nights with really good bands. Service great. We will be back!! LaastOneStanding - 23 Jul 2008 20:53
Good décor. Customers rather unwelcoming. Have been known to stare at strangers. Which can fell rather threatening in a new place. Lots of staff but I found it rather hard to get a drink and many people getting served be 4 me. Nice bar but if they don’t know you they won’t make you welcome. anonymous - 29 Sep 2006 16:25
nice pub, recently refurbished. Good selection of ales and local lager. Could do with a few more seats tho! Recommended. IR anonymous - 31 May 2006 22:47
rather busy pub with a good selection of real ales - which is unusual for these parts. "she" says that the food is good but it does get busy ray - 23 Apr 2004 01:20
