The calverts has lost a lot of it's appeal since it opened just over 10 years ago.
It used to be a good well run pub , with friendly staff and a good base of loyal customers who would enjoy the fairly priced food and drinks that were on offer .
Time has moved on sadly and the calverts court is no longer the place to go. It has turned into a hell hole , the staff are miserable and the service reflects this . There is also a large amount of drug missuse which goes on in the toilets . Avoid at all costs unless you like chavs then the calverts isn't the place to visit.

Went early doors prior to an engagement in the area and was not as bad as I thought it would be. Couple of ales on and decent. Served quickly, locals were a bit chavvy but not a problem. Could'nt comment about evenings though. Certainly not the worst JDW pub i've been in.

Visited here again this week to meet up with some friends. 5 Christmas seasonal beers were on, tried 3 and had to return 2 of them. Service horrifically slow and the best the food can be described as is 'fuel'. Horrible experience.

In the Wethers car park on the RHS I got a £95 parking ticket recently from a scam firm 'Valid Parking', which is now £150 from another debt collecting scam firm 'Roxburghe' as I refuse to pay it. The signs are not illuminated and I was there for 10 mins on a Friday night at 10 pm and it was dark.

This is a dirty scruffy pub and the toilets stink. It needs shutting down for a total make-over.

Wetherspoons, you can do better than this.

The staff are OK though.

THE PARKING SCAM MUST BE STOPPED.
