i am very dissapointed to find private parking attendants hiding behind parked cars giving out parking tickets on a friday and saturday night. This has lost this pub a great deal of customers who think this is unnaceptable .six people i know have been issued with parking tickets the last 2 weeks for parking for 15mins!!! clearly 95 pound is a discrase and this pub should think about there customers wellbeing and not them selves i will not be coming to this pub again i would strongly reccomend not to park here

Ugh this pub gets worse every time I visit it. The beer range is now down to the three usuals and one guest, possibly two if you're lucky, almost always from the Marstons family. In fact the whole place generally has a whiff of sulphur about it. Not so much as a smile from any of the staff (who can blame them), and the manager is the rudest I have ever encountered at a McSpoons. Aaargh!

Don't go here if you want to relax. It's like a terminal for Stockportians to start the night off early and get hammered, with the intention of moving on to more 'glamorous' offerings of Stockport. Scallies and bog-trotters with 50 cent ringtones a plenty.

The 'Wetherspoons Experience". Generally well-priced drinks, friendly staff, microwave-pilot dinners and the working-class. This particular one get's exceptionally busy and crowded at the bar fri/sat night and it's loud with drunken chattering/ no music. It's a good place to start of prior to the crowd. However sitting out in the back on the patio is kind of like sitting on an ATS mechanics forecourt as the picture conveys.

A quiet 'spoons for a saturday night, therefore got served quicker than you'd expect. Previous comments borne out by busier local pubs.Plenty of staff on.
Large but bright pub, pint of predigree went down well and food delivered quickly.
Overall you should know what to expect with the 'spoons food, what we had was good value and delivered quickly and couldn't fault it!
