| good lord. some people wouldn't know a decent pub if it bit them on the arse. it's a proper pub. no irish themed nonsense, a proper pub, serving proper beer, to proper people. if your idea of a good pub is friendly locals, good beer, juke box, darts, etc then i suggest you get yourself in here if you're in hebden. we thought it was fantastic. mph - 3 Feb 2008 01:12 |
| Oh come on now Ray! You're right but you're missing the point. The Railway's fab to sit outside in summer, it's a great venue for a very rushed pre-cinema drink - run cross the road and drink your pop in the marina if the pub bothers you. | oh dear! the bar maid had trouble with the concept of a non alcoholic drink, the carpet was like freshly laid tarmac- black and sticky, and i was offered a greyhound to buy within 5 min of entry by a man who looked exactly like neil from "the young ones". did not dare go near the toilets!! ray - 14 Apr 2004 04:42 |
