| Just to echo previous comments about this bar; It is all of the things that have been said about it already - the memrobillia is amazing and there are various rooms which seem to have a theme. Yes it's pricy for Lisbon, especially with Biarro Alto round the corner, but you have to bear in mind that you are also paying for the experience of having a beer in a bar that is truly unique. I doubt there is another bar like this anywhere else. Was in Lisbon over the weekend and we stumbled into this place almost by accident (even though we had read about it in the Lonely Planet guide). Once inside it actually was like being in your favorite musesum, but with a really chilled atmosphere and beer on tap. If I ever find myself in Lisbon again I will come here again. | You have to ring a bell to be let in here, and on doing so you will be greeted by a man in a smart red coat. You will then be shown to a table of your choosing, presented with a drinks menu and served accordingly. You will then marvel at the wealth of memorabilia filling the glass cabinets that line the walls and observe that most of its contents is war related. When you are done you will receive a bill of higher value than you might be used to in Lisbon but you will understand why. A must for anyone visiting the Portuguese capital. | I recently spent a night there, enjoying some of the well made and decently served cocktails they offer, looking at the millions of pictures, models hats .... and people of all ages that were having a great time just as I did.
