DEMOLISHED YEARS AGO .

Now closed and boarded up. My best information in Dec 08 was that the building is to be gutted and turned into offices. I now wonder if it won't be simply left to rot. The sad loss of a great City pub.

I like this pub for the good beer and really nice barstaff and customers, it has a really nice atmosphere! plus i won the bonus ball last night !! the only downer is i think its changing hands tommorow which will be a great shame , i just hope the new guvnor will be as nice and keep this great pub running the same

A surprisingly excellent pub... it's easy to be disappointed with its first impression - it's old, hasn't been decorated in years, got St George crosses hanging outside and there's certainly no pretty girls drinking inside. But the facts are it's relaxed, serves good beer, has decent staff and customers, and is a great place to go for a few pints with your mates or colleagues after work. Infinitely better than the Viaduct Tavern over the road.
