| Unfortunately this place is in dire need of being updated. The gents toilets are disgusting and the roof leeks in the bar when it rains. That said the Landlady makes you very welcome and the beer is good. itsianc - 4 May 2011 17:52 |

| I think it calls itself a 'sports bar' which prides itself on serving beer 'extra cold'. Bearing that in mind, you won't be surprised to find out that it sells no real ale. | after starting off at the james i come here, already drunk as its very expensive! I have a good dance and admire the fact that i'm in a far better state than every one else. its an attractive pub, with good music. Staff are pretty miserable, takes ages to get served.But i guess that makes your drink last as you wont have enough money for another! Not to keen on the fact that the bouncers ask fellas who are obviously old enough, for their I.D and then I.D women by starin at their breasts as they walk through.I used to really like this pub but i'm slowly changing my mind.:( Aregular - 20 Jul 2008 13:16 |
