what a load of rubbish being written about this pub.linda the landlady has worked very hard to bring this what was a run down smelly pubto a modern lively pub.this is mostly a service mans pub so it caters for that .it doesnt do food as is mostly a pub to come to to sing dance chat and have a good laugh.in the evenings it is a topless bar very well run and very respectable.everyone always has a good time i think its a crying shame people should be allowed to run this bar down .

A great shame that this pub is now totally ruined. Right outside St Levan's gate of the Naval Base it was always lively, friendly, and a cosy place to relax. Now unfortunately in the wrong hands it is dead, uninviting and cold. Everything is painted either white, blue or silver which instantly makes you feel chilly. On my last visit the landlady was somewhat inebriated, brandishing a microphone and attempting to murder several tracks on the jukebox. Beer average, pub well below standard, don't bother.

A pub for a quite drink, but no atmosphere to speak about. The barmaids while pleasent to chat to are Not Topless, which was a shame as that would have added a sparkle to the place, which is a bit drab. According to one regular we spoke to, the Barmaids use to go topless if a set number of people were, but that stopped a few months back so now there is nothing unique about the place.

Lynda the landlady has made a good effort to drag a poor pub up in standard but the beers not the greatest.
