lovely pub, specially for a good old family lunch on a summers day cake - 13 Dec 2008 15:39
Nothing wrong with the pub, or the staff, but would have to question the ignorant Patrons that were in there last night....with the exception of 2, EVERYONE left the door wide open when they came in/went out on a damn cold night. No bloody manners or consideration for anyone else, and typifies the arrogance of most people who live in and around the area. bitterboy1970 - 27 Oct 2008 22:22

Used to be OK for pub lunch. Visited today with a friend, baguette was all bread and no filling, 10 small chips on plate, salad with nothing but lettuce. No longer value for money, was never fantastic but used to be adequate, now supremely unsatisfying and will be taking my custom elsewhere. spiral - 27 Nov 2006 17:59
Standard Chef & Brewer interior, which is a shame as it is a striking old building which deserves better. Last time when I was there I complained about an underfilled baguette, and despite getting a refund, was informed that the sparse method of filling was 'company policy'. So it's company policy to rip you off? Hmmm... Redriley - 17 Nov 2006 09:11
