please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Tried looking for this pub. If I had the location correct, it was in the middle of nowhere and is now new-build housing.

I have to say that I am having real trouble understanding LadyD's comments below. The Gardeners Arms is an excellent rural pub with good beer and food.

Reading that review again, I have to say that I suspect the review was written by a disgruntled ex-employee.k,k

Its late, I need to hit the sack, will provide a more dispassionate review of this pub when I have a liitle more time.

Lesson from all of this - DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ.

Comments welcome - CHEERS

A gift of a boozer/fine eatery in Mid-Suffolk, if a little off the beaten track, situated next door to Battisford CC. Friendly staff and excellent landlords, the food is fresh, seasonal and delicious and there are always 3 tasty real ales to consume in ever increasing quantities.

Whether to pop in for a beer, meet with friends for a tasty lunch or a glamorous night out to impress your parents this is an excellent choice. Plenty of parking and on the junction of some picturesque walking routes, settle in and get comfortable.!

a great country pub, Comfy and the Landlord a real one off. But dont all go the bar for a drink at the same time cause you never no what you shall end up with. The same for the food, great food but you will have to wait for it.

A classic - excellent combination of friendly rural local and upmarket-looking restaurant. There are several pubs like this in the belt of Suffolk below the A14. Excellent IPA. Very difficult to find in the dark in winter, but worth the search.
