| The second best pub in Todmorden (a little market town on the Lancs/Yorkshire border, where I was born). A good 'n' traditional country pub, high on the Pennine moors. I have a feeling the building was built at the beginning of the 1800s, but don't quote me. There's a very big annual fell race from here first Saturday in November (hundreds of obscenely fit runners - quite a sight). Excellent range of beers. Decent food.
