Taylors seems to have dissappeared from the bar with beers from the Marstons selection

Great pub in amazing location. Dining area done out in typical modern-ish style, has good views. Bar area is better with a real fire. Taylors Landlord in good nick, 2.65 pint. Black Sheep also.

You'll find this pub a relaxing break, especially if cycling on the Penines. Plenty of choice of good and real ale.

Beers are well kept, views are fantastic...service is friendly. What more could you want! Just a quick little nip down of the Pennine Way, within a medium walk to Stoodley Pike.

The second best pub in Todmorden (a little market town on the Lancs/Yorkshire border, where I was born). A good 'n' traditional country pub, high on the Pennine moors. I have a feeling the building was built at the beginning of the 1800s, but don't quote me. There's a very big annual fell race from here first Saturday in November (hundreds of obscenely fit runners - quite a sight). Excellent range of beers. Decent food. But it is the views (and beer) that you'll come for and, believe me, you won't be disappointed!
