Great little pub with good beer and pickled eggs. First time I have seen a jukebox which only plays banjo music. TrickyG - 2 Aug 2006 12:39
smashing pub this great country bumkin atmosphere about yet still managing to look modern with its sheek looking furniture. pickled eggs all round for this one!. Tubs - 25 Aug 2004 16:06
I believe the vinegar used for the pickled eggs is a rare balsamic, which is matured for 18 years in oak casks in the Milan region. But hte pub still rocks, especially every Friday with Bubba and the Banchees live mobile discotheque! Lovely pint of lager top too! blunders - 28 May 2004 11:05
A Good fun pub at which locals and non locals are equally welcome, worth a visit. However if you are into Pickled Eggs this pub is a must, I haven't tasted eggs like it anywhere else! If heaven was an egg it would live in the Pickled Egg Jar on The Merryboys bar. Eggy - 6 Apr 2004 11:42
