lets start with some positives. its a pub.its in a nice building ( which could be great).tis cheap too. and then... unfriendly, used to be pretty good for a punch up,( havent been for a while). not the place you'd take your granny.reminds me of the demolished st. helier tavern. aah, memories. afcgazzard - 30 Nov 2006 15:14
Seeing as my last comments about this place have been removed by the censor I will try again to convey my feelings re: this gaff in slightly more conservative tones. Is it the worst pub I have ever been in! A nice building but the punters are horrific! And this isn't a new phenomenen - it was the same 20 years ago!! Dreadful, awful, painful!! anonymous - 27 Sep 2006 18:14
Dire, simply dire... Lovely building though. SilverBullet - 16 Aug 2006 18:24
This pub is brilliant. For the one reason that it keeps all the hobos, freaks and psychos off the streets and out of the other pubs. They've gotta drink somewhere! Thanks Mitre. monkeyboysupreme - 29 Jun 2006 22:30
