Just enjoyed an fantastic lunch at the Terraces. Sun is shining and we managed to get a table on the terrace overlooking the pier. The Chorizo was lovely while the other half enjoyed her oysters and greek salad. All topped up with a bottle of wine.
Surely there is no place better in Brighton for the food, the view and the comapny?

Greatly disappointed by the lack of professionalism shown by the management team in responding to a request to reserve part of the venue for a private function for 50 people. Positive hints that it should be no problem were coupled with broken promises to return calls, alleged absences when calling them, reluctance to respond to emails, constant need for the Assistant to refer to the Manager. Upshot was they were negotiating with another (larger) party and intended to use our enquiry as a backstop if the other one fell through. As it was the other party did book and so two weeks after our original enquiry and within an hour of having phoned reminding them their earlier promise to email back hadn't been received they replied advising us they couldn't now take our booking. This information was obviously known when I called but they didn't have the 'bottle' to tell me on the phone. I'd advise others to think twice about planning an event at this venue. If this is the hassle it takes to get in can you imagine the way they might respond should you have any difficulties on the night? Shame really for it is in an excellent location. What a pity the management team demonstrate so clearly that to them, the phrase customer service (or even client relations) is an oxymoron. Anybody else what 50 singles (mixed) for drinks and food on Saturday 19th November?

Fantastic as always. Great service and wondeful staff. The assistant manager is wonderful (and very cute)he really made our day. The best plaxce in Brighton to spend a weekend.

Very mixed service, but most of the staff great. Food and beer are fine, but the location more than makes up for this. In the top five sunsets in Brighton (and the competition is savage).

Great location and the terrace is lovely when the sun is shining. Don't go in a group of more then 2/4. The service is awful. They only do table service, and you have to run a tab. We waited about 45 minutes from ordering to get our beer-the bar is was only 5 metres from where we were sitting! We complained but the manager didn't seem to care.
