Wot has happened to the bridge? New manager has not got a clue, bring back Woody and Debs! Come on Barracuda wot you playing at? anonymous - 6 Sep 2007 23:47
Music to loud and very bad. No beer just overpriced alcopops. Went in and straight out. The kinds of people who go here don’t appreciate good food, drink, conversation and atmosphere. Why anyone would go here when you’ve got the railway arms in Alton I don’t know. tommyn11685 - 21 Jul 2007 11:27
My workmates have quite a few "dos" there on a Friday evening and after about 7pm it's not all that nice. Music is too loud which kills any conversation, beer not cheap - and often there's no real ale (or it tastes so awful you end up on John Smiths), and I have seen people come in off the street and charmingly drop their trousers on the way through the door. Yeah, I know it's not the pub's fault, but that's the kind of people it attracts. If you see me in there I have been heavily persuaded (or bribed). Benjiboy - 28 Dec 2006 18:19
not sure what your talking about. the staff are helpful and friendly. its the only place in town that have door staff and there is rarely trouble. the last was over 2 months ago. new menu is great and good value. if your in Alton you must go here!! woodstar - 30 Oct 2006 12:20
I think the Wey Bridge is the worst pub in town, there are fights, the door staff are under-trained, the drinks are overpriced, and the crowd in there look like they are from the set of hollyoaks, No soul. eltonjohn - 13 Jun 2006 16:51
