| Yea the Jack of Both Sides was a great pub... NOT! Do you even know how much trouble they had with drugs and violence? The UpIn Arms is a good pub, the majority of the staff are hardworking. Drinks are cheap in comparisson to town centre prices. It's not quite as pimp as Pavlov's Dog in town, but thats just had a massive refit. | A complete student pub, but it fulfills that purpose quite well. Their discount card is good value if you intend on visiting regularly, there's a large games area and they tend to decorate around certain holidays (most recently half the rooms were lit by sinister, and annoying, red lights).
