| Not impressed by the service at all. Food's cheap but chewy. Why show signs your going to show a rugby world cup game when your not? They'd rather lose the 30 customers that walked out when they could have easily put ITV on one of the many screens. | I go to stay in Wavertree quite a bit and this pub is the local. It's absolutely huge but not overwhelming at the same time. The staff aren't great, but the use of the jukeboxes and the bigt screen is fantastic, as are their pool tables. As it is a student pub, don't expect to be outnumbered by liverpudlians. It's the only place in Liverpool where I can take my South London accent and not get dirty looks... Still, I wouldn't suggest wearing an Arsenal shirt. Ali - 28 Feb 2004 06:24 |
