Yes, it's Hall and Woodhouse, but it isn't too bad. Three H&W beers on - 'King and Barnes' Sussex Ale (Bill King isn't turning in his grave, as far as I know he's still alive and enjoying running the brewery he set up when H&W bought him out), Badger with First Gold and good old Tanglefoot. A locals' pub no doubt with a large television awkwardly placed by the bar. Nice barmaid. rainlight - 8 Oct 2008 07:56
Badger beer is over rated in my opinion. Little rough around the edges but ok on a drunk night out. BestBeerBoffin - 19 Sep 2008 10:29
Slightly messy, but enjoy the Badger beer. Not too-off putting people in here. TheSurreyPubMan - 8 Jul 2008 19:04
Visited here on saturday night with some friends and witnessed some strange goings on with the locals. One girl was sorting herself "down below" flashing her knickers in the process. We got a similar reception to anonymous - 28 Aug 2007 with regards to the stares and walked out without trying the ale. triumph - 13 Apr 2008 21:05
Better than average pub, with good beer. Generally lively in the evenings, particularly if there's sport on. SheffieldMickey - 2 Mar 2008 22:15
